Sledding POSTPONED, we are having a Games N' More night!!

Well, the plan was to go sledding, but alas it looks like the windchill could be -40. ...so, we will be chillin' (pun intended) at the church playing games and stuff.

Bring your favorite board game (Settlers of Catan will be there and I think we have twister too) and bring your guitar if you want and we may have a jam session too!  

Hope to see you there!, bring a couple bucks to buy snacks.

So the sledding will be postponed until further notice...

We are going sledding to Mount Pleasant this Friday with Both the Jr and Sr groups!

We will need drivers, so ask if your parents can drive!!

Meet at the church at 7:00pm or if you want to go straight to Mount Pleasant, we will be arriving at around 7:30.

We will wrap up at Mount Pleasant at 9:30 and be back at the church by 10:00 pm.

Bring your warm clothes and a sled or piece of cardboard or old hood from a car (*ask you parents before removing the hood of your car) or something to travel down the hill.

We will be having fun and hot chocolate so don't say I didn't warn you!

Missions Encounter Youth Night!

This weekend is Missions Encounter and we're having a youth event on Friday night. This is for both Junior and Senior highs!

We are going to be a part of the Missions Encounter event and having Games and Pizza after! Just like last year when we did it at First Baptist Church.

Meet at Argyle Road Baptist Church (we're doing this event with Argyle and First Baptist.

Bring $2 for the Pizza.

Come at 7:00 and it'll go until 10:00.

KBK Winter Kamp!

KBK Winter Kamp is Friday Feb 6 to Sunday Feb 8!

Byron Toth is the Kamp Speaker!

We are going boarding (or skiing) at Mission Ridge on Saturday!

And we will just be having a great time out there Kampin' Winter Style!

Cost is $55 for Kamp registration plus:

$27.60 if you are skiing

$38.20 if you are snowboarding

$15.75 if you only need a lift ticket

$4.20 if you need a helmet (recommended)

Movie Night

It's a joint event for both Jr's and Sr's on Friday night from 7-10pm

Steve Larsen "Linear" CD Release Party

This week we are going to a CD release party for Steve Larsen's new album Linear!

This is for both Jr and Sr High Groups.

Steve is originally from Regina.  Many of you may know him because he spoke out at KBK in 2007 and he has given guitar lessons to a lot of people from around here!

The concert is from 7:30 to 10:00pm at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum 2445 Albert Street

You can go directly there or if you need a ride, meet at the church at 7:00 pm and pickup is at 10:30 pm.

Cost is $10.  Bring extra money if you would like to buy Steve's new cd or get some snacks.
