Youth and Family Picnic!

Hey everyone, we are finishing off our year by going to Candycane park for a BBQ! Pop, hot dogs and burgers will be provided, just bring $2 and a lawn chair. 

It's on Friday Night from 5-8 pm (but don't worry if you are coming late, we'll probably eat at about 6) and we will be meeting at Candycane Park by the big playground and parking lot.

Comedy Night This Saturday and Sunday!

Westhill Park Church's annual Comedy & Dessert night is being put on by the youth on June 6 & 7. It will be an evening of hilarious short skits and comedy by all of the youth going on the trip to SERVE 2009 in Swift Current, SK.

Tickets are $10 and all money will go directly towards the youth to help with the cost of the trip. That includes yummy cheesecake and coffee/tea/juice too!

~

Bring your friends - people of all ages will have a blast.

~

There will be childcare for the younger kids but the older ones would probably rather be a part of the night.

Bananarama Scavenger Hunt!!

Ok, this is almost our last event of the year so don't miss it! Next week is the comedy night and then we have our Youth and Family BBQ at Candycane Park to wrap things up on June 12. So come on out this weekend!

The Bananarama Scavenger Hunt is where we divide into teams each with a banana and then have a list of things around the city to go measure in lengths of a banana. Last time we measured the length of the Albert Street Bridge in bananas so who knows what will be in store this time!

Sr High is on Friday Night and Jr High is on Saturday Night.

We need drivers so ask your parents if they will be able to drive.

Laser Quest Lock-In!!

We are going to Laser Quest for an All-Night Lock-in!!

Yes, the time is correct, we will be there from 11:30PM to 5:30AM

Cost is $30

Meet and get picked up at Laser Quest (just across the street from Northgate Mall)

Snacks are included, but there are also some arcade games and stuff there so you can bring some money to play them too if you want.

Hey, It's May Long Weekend!

We are not having youth events this weekend, take some time and relax, hang out with your family and friends and enjoy the last long weekend before school is out!

alright, we're going to go out on a limb and announce that it is officially spring! In order to let winter know that his time is up, we will be enjoying the warm-ish weather by having an outdoor event! Come out for some intense-mission-impossible games of capture the flag followed by...gorgons??? can't wait to see you all there! don't forget to bring some money for the canteen!

Westhill Scavenger Hunt 2.0!!

Ok, we almost got around to this last week but this Saturday May 2 we are going for round 2!

so...

You think you know Westhill!?!  Well good luck because we are going to be doing a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood.

Come dressed to be outside and we will be getting into groups and competing to see who can come up with the most correct answers in our Westhill Scavenger Hunt.  Who knows we may even move in to Fairways West.  

I know you are intrigued, don't fight it.  Both Jr and Sr High meet at Westhill Park Baptist Church Saturday from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. 

Bring a couple bucks for snacks after we come back to the church.
